The everyday need for people is food and what I thought is more specific for Finland is the every Thursday soup, the Runeberg’s torte, the traditional conserving bread and the syrup bottle. If the soup is eaten every week, the torte has only one special moment in the beginning of February. Its origin is in a small village near Vaasa.
